Review: The estate is reminiscent of a little English village with street names like Wessex and Whitechurch Road. As you venture deeper into the heart of the neighbourhood, you can find huge tanks obscured by the bushes, and swings dangling from trees.
Near the start of Portsdown road near Temasek Club is a small dining place called Colbar or Colonial bar. The design of the eatery has a simple but rustic charm to it. The menu has simple things like fish and chips and coffee, but don't bet on the taste. The price is also on the steep side, but you're paying for the ambience.
The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It’s a great place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
