Review: Borobudur is a Buddhist temple complex located Central Java, Indonesia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and touted as one of the 7 wonders of the world.. It is the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth, and is second to none in terms of massiveness and the attention to detail it's creators and builders had when constructing it.

A couple of friends and I visited some years back, during a trip to java in which we spent most of our time in Solo, the hometown of one of my friends, and the origin of the song/cake brand 'Bengawan Solo'. That friend helped to rent a car and drove out to Borobudur and we spent a fun-filled afternoon there, though it was blazing hot!!! Rewarding though, as you can see from the pictures how lovely-blue the skies were.
