Extended Hand To Big Toe Pose / Utthita Hasta Padangustasana
The extended hand to big toe pose is commonly known as the Utthita Hasta Padangustana. This pose is known to be of great importance in preparation to the other complicated poses that need to be performed in yoga. This yoga pose helps in stretching the hamstrings so as to make it flexible and prepare it for the other poses.

This is a pose I find easy to get into but really difficult to hold on to and to get my extended leg straight in. 
It’s easy in this pose to use your arm strength to hold your extended leg out and up, and to forget to use your core and leg strength to keep the extended leg up.
I have to keep a conscious effort to remind myself to use my core and legs instead of my arm.
